Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines for Full Paper Submission

To ensure a smooth publication process for the 72nd TEFLIN International Conference 2026, all presenters must adhere to these revised guidelines, which are aligned with the official Template - Full Paper TEFLIN 2026.docx.

 

1. General Policy & Publication Outlets

  • Default Publication: All submitted full papers will undergo a single-blind peer-review process for inclusion in the official conference proceedings titled: The Proceedings of the 72nd TEFLIN International Conference and the 10th ICEMS 2026.

  • Alternative Submission: If you intend to submit your paper to external international or national journals, you must notify the committee upon submission to avoid double publication.

2. Manuscript Preparation & Formatting

  • File Type: Manuscripts must be submitted as Microsoft Word files (.doc or .docx).

  • Length: Full papers should be between 4,000 to 6,000 words, including references and appendices.

  • Template Compliance: Authors must use the formatting styles included in Template - Full Paper TEFLIN 2026.docx to set all paragraph and heading styles.

  • Paragraph Indentation:

    • The first paragraph of each section or subsection must not be indented.

    • All subsequent paragraphs within a section must have an indent on the first line.

  • Visuals: Figures and tables should be placed close to where they are first cited in the text. Use the specific captions and text boxes provided in the template.

3. Manuscript Structure

  • Title: Replace the placeholder at the top of the template with a concise, informative title.

  • Author Information: Include author names and affiliations (Department, Institution, City, Country) as formatted in the template. Provide the corresponding author's email.

  • Abstract: Provide a single paragraph of 150–250 words.

  • Keywords: List 3 to 5 keywords immediately following the abstract.

  • Section Headings: Use numbered sections (e.g., 1. Section heading, 1.1 Example subsection heading) as defined in the template styles.

     

4. References and Citations

  • Citation Style: Reference numbers must be placed in square brackets [ ] before punctuation (e.g., [1] or [1–3]).

  • Pagination: For embedded citations with page numbers, use the format: [5] (p. 10).

  • Reference List: List references individually at the end of the manuscript in their order of appearance in the text.

  • DOI: Include the digital object identifier (DOI) for all references where available.

  • Formatting: Follow the specific bibliography examples provided in Template - Full Paper TEFLIN 2026.docx (e.g., Author 1, A.B.; Author 2, C.D. Title of the article...).

5. Submission Process & Ethics

  • Deadline: Manuscripts must be submitted through the OJS portal no later than 30 June 2026.

  • Originality: Work must be original and not currently under consideration elsewhere.

  • Plagiarism: All papers will be screened via Turnitin; a similarity index above 20% may result in rejection.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
